What is Crave Digital?

Crave Digital is a cutting-edge self-publishing platform built for independent musicians and multimedia creators.

It offers a powerful suite of tools, including digital music and video distribution, AI-driven design for graphics, animations, and promotional materials, as well as advanced campaign management solutions.

The platform also enables artists to create and monetize unique NFTs.

With a global reach and a focus on innovation, Crave Digital empowers creators at every stage of their careers, helping them thrive in the dynamic world of music and multimedia.

Do I need to be 18 or older to use Crave Digital?

Yes, Crave Digital is only available to individuals who are of legal age. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account on your behalf. Once you reach adulthood, contact us, and we’ll help you easily transfer the account to your name.

Can I use Crave Digital if I am a creator from outside the European Union?

Crave Digital is an international platform, but currently, it is only available to artists from European Union countries. However, we plan to expand its availability to additional countries soon. Follow our social media channels to be the first to know about new registration opportunities!

Please note that withdrawing earned funds requires fulfilling certain formalities related to your tax residency. Detailed information on this process can be found in the Distribution Agreement and Terms of Service. This ensures compliance with regulations and smooth payment processing.

How do I create an account on Crave Digital?

To create an account, simply fill out the registration form, provide the required details, choose a subscription plan, and accept the Distribution Agreement and Terms of Service. Users under the age of 18 can only use the platform with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

I want to switch from another distributor to Crave Digital. How do I do it?

Great choice! To transfer your catalog to Crave Digital, you'll need the following:

ISRC codes assigned to your tracks
Artist name and track titles
Original audio files
Original artwork (e.g., album covers)

💡IMPORTANT: If you want to retain your current play counts and views—especially on platforms like YouTube Music and Apple Music—make sure your ISRC codes match the original release. All data must be identical to your original release when uploading your music to Crave Digital. We highly recommend double-checking everything and keeping these details in a safe place.

Once you have everything ready, contact us through the form on our website, and we’ll provide you with detailed instructions for the next steps.‍

Do I need to renew my subscription?

Yes and no! 😉 Without an active subscription, you won’t be able to release new music or withdraw royalties from your account. Additionally, if your subscription isn’t renewed, your releases may be removed from streaming platforms.

But don’t worry—your subscription renews automatically! We’ll notify you multiple times, starting 30 days before the scheduled payment. The fee will be charged to the card you provided during registration, ensuring uninterrupted access to the platform and its features.

If you decide not to renew your subscription and wish to delete your account, just contact us—we’ll guide you through the process.

How much does music distribution with Crave Digital cost?

Distribute unlimited music to Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, Instagram, YouTube Music, and 100+ global streaming platforms, digital stores, and social media services – all starting at just 31.99 EUR per year!

You can also publish your music videos on VEVO and Apple Music with a one-time fee, giving your content the chance to reach millions of viewers worldwide.

How to remove your release from streaming platforms?

You can take down your music from streaming platforms at any time. Simply contact us at support@crave-digital.eu, and we’ll handle the rest.

The removal process from all services typically takes 2 to 4 weeks.

What payment methods are available on Crave Digital?

For renewable subscriptions, we accept all major credit and debit cards.

For other services, we also offer online bank transfers, Google Pay, and Apple Pay as payment options.‍

Can I edit my release after submitting it to streaming platforms?

If you want to make changes to your release after it has been published on streaming platforms, contact us – we can update the data, provided that the modification does not include the following changes:

🚫 Not possible:

Adding or removing tracks,
Changing the order of tracks,
Changing the main artist’s name or modifying the artist’s role from "Featured" to "Primary".

📌 If you need to make any of these changes, save the original ISRC codes, then remove the release from the platforms and re-upload the modified version following our instructions.

Does Crave Digital take a commission from my royalties?

We don’t take any commission – 100% of your earnings are yours. 🤑💯

However, withdrawal amounts may be reduced by transaction fees and applicable taxes, depending on legal requirements and the payment method you choose.‍

Can I release music videos?

Yes! You can create your own Vevo channel and publish official music videos on Vevo and Apple Music.

How to get started?

Log in to your Crave Digital account.
In the main menu, go to the "Your Music" section.
Select the "Your Video Clips" tab.

Here, you can:

Request the creation of a new Vevo channel.
Upload your music videos as soon as they are ready for publication.

👉 Important! To add a music video, you must first upload the audio track.

How far in advance should I submit my music before the release date?

To ensure smooth distribution, we recommend submitting your tracks at least 3-4 weeks before your planned release date. This allows enough time for processing your release and assigning it to the correct stores and artist profiles.

Uploading your music early also gives you extra time for effective pre-release promotion. This is especially important if you plan to submit your tracks to Spotify playlists via Spotify for Artists.

When will I receive my royalty payments?

Royalties will be credited to your Crave Digital account as soon as we receive them from streaming platforms.

✅ For major services such as Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, YouTube, and Amazon Music, payouts are processed once a month.

⏳ Some stores and platforms may take 3 to 6 months to send sales reports. No worries – your royalty balance will be updated immediately upon payment processing.

How long does it take to verify and approve a new release?

We cannot guarantee an exact timeframe for the approval of your release, but we do our best to ensure the process is as fast as possible. To avoid delays, please make sure that all metadata, cover art, and titles meet the requirements of your selected streaming platforms.

How can I check the status of my release?

You can find the status of your releases in the Your Music section of the main panel, under Your Albums. Here, you can view all the tracks you’ve uploaded to Crave Digital, along with their current status.

👇 Here’s what each status means:

🔹 Draft – Your release is still being prepared and has not yet been submitted to the system. You can edit details, add, or change files before final approval.

🔹 Submitted – Your release has been sent to the system and is awaiting verification. Our team will review the metadata, cover art, and audio files for accuracy before sending them to streaming platforms.

🔹 Delivered – Your release has been successfully approved and forwarded to music platforms. Now, all that’s left is to wait for the official release date, when your tracks will go live.

What is an ISRC code?

ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) is a unique identification code assigned to every audio recording or music video. It functions like a "serial number" for a track, allowing for tracking and reporting of plays and saleson streaming platforms and music stores.

📌 What is ISRC used for?

It is essential for monitoring royalties.
It enables accurate accounting of your music.

✅ If you don’t have your own ISRC codes, Crave Digital will automatically generate them during the distribution of your release.

What format should my audio file be in?

Only complete recordings should be submitted – we do not accept snippets, abruptly cut-off tracks, or files with long periods of silence.

Audio file requirements:

✅ Accepted format: WAV only.
✅ Supported settings:

16-bit (44.1 kHz)
24-bit (44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 96 kHz, 192 kHz)

✅ Maximum file size per track: 250 MB.

❌ Do not change file extensions (e.g., MP3 to WAV) without proper conversion, as this may affect sound quality.
❌ 32-bit files are not accepted.

What are the copyright and ownership requirements?

All tracks distributed through Crave Digital must have clearly defined and verifiable copyright ownership. Therefore, we require:

✅ Proof of ownership or licensing agreements upon request from our copyright team.
✅ Accurate metadata when uploading, including correct information about songwriters, composers, producers, and performers – some streaming services require these details as mandatory.
✅ Documentation for cover songs, samples, and interpolations, including valid licensing agreements available upon request.

⚠️ Failure to provide the required documentation may result in content rejection or removal.

Can I distribute AI-generated music?

Currently, Crave Digital does not accept fully AI-generated tracks due to legal uncertainties and ongoing copyright proceedings.

❌ This means that the following cannot be distributed:

Fully AI-generated compositions, lyrics, or vocals (e.g., tracks created using Suno, Udio, and similar tools).
AI-modified versions of existing copyrighted songs.
AI-assisted remixes that may infringe third-party rights.

⚠️ Any attempt to upload AI-generated content will be rejected during our Quality Control check, and repeated violations of our Terms of Service may result in the permanent suspension of your account.
